I thought this was just crazy. Taken from my hotel room in Makati Philippines. The Hotel you are looking at is about 40 stories.
This is zoomed in a little. See him?
Now this is one brave dude.

[…] daredevilry, recklessness, foolhardiness, and temerity in the Philippines February 4, 2012By Jan would you do this on a 40 story building without protection?I am not sure how to call this: daredevilry, recklessness, foolhardiness, or temerity, but one thing is for sure: it is STUPID. As an Expat in the Philippines I notice many strange things, and many times I am reporting about it. A colleague blogger: “The Travelling Fool” currently spends some time in Manila and spotted someone working on a high spot on an other hotel. The man is not wearing any protection in case he is making a fall of about 40 stories. Maybe he is sure nothing will happen to him? Or maybe this is a proof that life is almost worthless in the Philippines. Interested to see more pictures of this man? See the whole story on the website of The Travelling Fool […]

Only in the Philippines! That really should have been their new slogan, instead of It’s More Fun In The Philippines…

Yeah it was kinda like looking at a train wreck. You didn’t want to see what might happen but I couldn’t stop watching.

He don’t have any rope or something attach to him? 😮
This is really dangerous. Hope nothing bad ever happen to him in the future.
thetravellingfool says
I saw him attach a rope a couple of times but most of the time he was just up there without anything.

Maybe he think nothing will ever happen to him.

What this man is doing is common in the Philippines. On many high construction sites only very few are using safety cords. It is not always in the newspapers but every week there are severe accidents people falling from heights and often die.
I will use this picture on my website with a link to this page, hope you do not mind.
