The Pyramid at Chichen Itza also known as El Castillo is probably the most recognized and visited tourist site in Mexico. There are 365 steps, one for each day of the year and at sunset during the Spring and Autumn Equinox triangle shadows are formed by the platforms making it look like a serpent is desending the stairs. By standing directly in front of the stairs and clapping your hands the echo from the pyramid sounds like an eagle screeching.
